We stayed at the Brookside Hideaway condos and would stay there again in a heartbeat.  It was clean, quiet, the beds were comfy and they are pet friendly which meant we could bring Leo on vacation!

Staying here also meant that we had use of the marina nearby too...

After our first swim upon arriving to Bayfield we had to go out for a bite to eat at the restaurant that my little sister works at.

Day two of our vacation was the Fourth of July and we rode the ferry over to Madeline Island to watch the parade over there and enjoy the community picnic.  My mom and step-dad have a house that they are fixing up in Bayfield so we hooked up with them on the ferry and spent the rest of the day with them.

This was such a special getaway for us...I'm so glad that we did it!  We had so much fun and really enjoyed every last minute of our time away from home.  I'll post more photos of our adventures here soon.
